Section 26.03, Tax Code, is validated as of January 1, 1980.

This section was an attempt to eliminate the basis for an ongoing lawsuit.
It was part of the ballot proposition that repealed the state property tax.
Note that the section has an official title (Validation of Assessment Ratio).
