Article III, Section 27 of the Texas Constitution ("Elections for Legislators")

Adopted February 15, 1876:

Elections for Senators and Representatives shall be general througout [sic] the State, and shall be regulated by law.

The enrolled version of the Texas Constitution of 1876 contained an occasional spelling error like the one indicated above.
